Diagnosis

Introduction

The purpose of the program

This program, which runs on laptops, tablets, and mobiles, was written to help detect pigeon diseases. It helps determine what the problem is with the pigeon or pigeons, or the entire flock. The program is easy to use and does not require any expertise.

Who is the program for?

The program is primarily intended to help pigeon fanciers who like to track down a problem on their own. The program guides them through the important symptoms, helping them not to lose sight of anything that may be needed to make a diagnosis. This program is also good for gathering useful information about the problem that you can share with your vet.

On the other hand, the program wants to provide information to veterinarians who do not specialize in pigeons, but are interested in the topic, and sometimes encounter pigeons in their practice.

Last but not least, the program can help veterinary students who are now learning the profession. It can be useful for them even if they are not particularly interested in pigeon health, as the use of the program can help to master and strengthen the veterinary thinking and logic that we use in everyday life to detect the problem, make a diagnosis – for any animal species.

Here, too, we point out that making a correct diagnosis is not an easy task. This doesn’t always work in real life either, we can sometimes be wrong. Therefore, the diagnosis obtained here is always only a probability, which is probably correct, but may be incorrect. No more than an option. Therefore, use the result obtained only in your sole discretion and responsibility. Consider if you see fit or ignore it. This program is like a textbook: it can give you a lot of help, but it can’t decide for you.
